Baa, Baa, Black Sheep

Hello all, I'm back today with another Nurser Rhyme Cartridge LO. Number 7, I do believe.:)
I went with a soft yellow striped paper with the classic black background. I probably should have written the dimensions down for you, but the way my month has been going...I am doing good just to get the Layouts done. lol.

I am making a Nursery Rhyme book and scrapbook all in one with the cuts from my cartridge. I thought it would be nice to be able to read the nursery rhymes to the kids and add picture of them from when they were little. That way they can remember the nursery rhymes and when they were little. I know I still remember quite a few of the nursery rhymes from when I was a child. I have a couple more LO's to share ..so I will be back tomorrow with another LO.

Georgy Porgy...

Good afternoon to all of my crafting friends out there!! Thanks so much for stopping by. For Day 7 of my Nursery Rhyme LO's, I thought I would make another colorful layout. I had this polka dot paper in my stash and thought ...why not use it for this :) I tried coordinating all of the colors for the mats and cuts.
I really like the colors on this one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog today. For day 6 of my Nursery Rhyme week, I have one of my favorite rhymes for you.
I used a blue cardstock for the background and thought I would add a pop of orange to it for the photo mats.
I put stickles on all of the stars so that they would shine a little. Then printed out the nursery rhyme on my computer and matted it. I also used some of my swirlly stamps to make the  trails for the stars.
See you tomorrow with another Nursery Rhyme LO.

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a wonderful and realaxing Sunday. This is Day 5 of Nursery Rhyme Layouts.
On this layout I just used my fiskars circle cutter to randomly cut the patterned paper and the solid cardstock that I had so that they would match up.

Hey diddle diddle

Hello and welcome to day 3 of my Nursery Rhymes week. I did this layout pretty simple and plain. I used the blue cardstock and then used  a couple of lighter shades of blue for the photo mats and the nursery rhyme mat.

I printed the nursery rhyme off of my computer, and all the cuts are from NR cartridge. Except for the little doggie and he came from CC. I also used my wonderful Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces on the little doggie, the dish and spoon.
Thanks for stopping by.. and I will have anothe LO up for you tomorrow.

Little Boy Blue ....

Hello to all my wonderful bloggie friends out there. I am sorry that I have gotten a late start to my "Nursery Rhyme Cartridge" week. Dad went throught the surgery well, and now we just have a month of therapy to go through. Then he can come home.
So hopefully I can try to catch back up on my blog and my poor house!! And, on that note I will show you my first LO ....
I really like the NR cartridge and don't use it quite as much as I should. It has a great font on it and I really like the cuts and sayings  too. I printed the nursery rhyme from my computer and added it to it. This is one of the books that I was making and thought it would be nice if they could use it to read to the baby, then add pics of him.  That way it doubles as a scrapbook and a nursery rhyme book. (I like getting my money's worth out of something lol)

Thanks for stopping by,

Nap time

Hi my bloggie friends! This LO is another baby book page that I made. I got the crib cut from EDPD and the changing table was actually made from different shapes put together.
The wall hanging is from a stamp set that I bought at Michael's.
I actually got the idea for the blanket on the crib and the changing table from one of the blogs that I follow Bug Junkie.
She is really very talented. Everything she does has such amazing detail. She actually made an armoire for the baby with clothes and everything else you could imagine. I thought I would just go a little more simple and try my hand at making a changing table with shelves. I think it turned out really cute.
Thanks for stopping by,

Birthday card

Hi all, hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I've been pretty busy, but managed to make a card to enter in a few challenges.  This cute little card was made from the Create a Critter cart. I sponge inked all the edges of the cardstock and added some ribbon. I thought it turned out pretty good.
My daughter and I made it for a friend of hers. She really liked it, she even hung it up on her wall. lol She loves dinosaurs, (first girl I have seen that lloves dinosaurs hehe).

The challenges I am entering this into is:

I also wanted to enter it into another challenge, but I can't remember which one it is.
It was a challenge to make something with or for a child.??
Oh well, guess I should start writing these things down. lol

Yes...I know it's not Easter

Hello again, to all my wonderful bloggie friends out there. Now, I know it's not Easter anymore. Or for that matter anywhere close to it lol. But, this layout is all about Easter. I made this to put in the baby book that I am doing for a friend of mine.
When I make a baby book, I always like to make one going from first born through the first birthday.  So, I always incorporate all of the holidays. That way the mom can get all of the first year pics into the album of her precious little darling. So with that said here is a 2 page LO for when Easter comes around.

I used:
Doodle charms for the basket and eggs.
Create a Critter for the tree and rabbit.
The title is from Celebrate with Flourish.
The adorable faces are from Peachy Keen stamps.
Thanks for stopping by..

Sweet Baby Boy

Hi, hope everyone is having a great Wednesday. It's the middle of the week and I only have 2 more work days until the weekend.... yeeeaaaahhhh. This LO is another one for the baby book I am working on. I really liked the mom holding the baby in the air from A childs year and wanted to add that into my LO. There are 2 different cuts on that cartridge 1 for a boy and 1 for a girl. I had seen someone use the cut and put part of it into a circle and really liked it. So I tried it, and this is what I came up with.

Not really sure how I feel about it yet. It's for a boy...(well I guess you already knew that by the title duuhhh..sorry having a moment where my brain forgot to relay that to my typing fingers hehe). Anyway, I used some colors that I'm not  sure wether I like or not. I'm not really a plaid kind of person. Maybe, that's what is throwing me off.  lol.   But, I figured I needed to get out of my comfort zone and use some colors and patterns that I don't normally use. I also added in some rattles and put some stickles on them(I know, its for a boy...but I just had to add something. I couldn't help myself ). Anyway boys like sparkly too. Just ask all the fishermen that are attracted to the sparkle on the bass boats hehe.
Talk to ya later,

A Father's Day Card

Hi, all. I hope you are having a wonderful Monday! Mine has been extremely busy. I got a few minutes so I thought that I would show you the card that I made for my dad the other day.
I made a really quick and simple A2 size card.
    I tried to use "manly" colors.. I used a cream for the base 5 1/2 x 4  1/4
Then for the striped pattern I cut it down to 5 1/4 x 4
    and for the polka dot layer, I cut it down to a  5 1/4 x 3 3/4
I added some green ribbon and used Celebrate with flourish for the cut on front. Can't remember what size I cut it at(sorry).
I thought it turned out pretty good, and guys don't like frilly anyway, especially my dad. He is 79... so the more simple the better lol.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me.
