Birthday card

(sorry folks, this was set to post already and I messed it up somehow lol)  Hop on over and see what my DT sister has in store for you today over at the Pinque Peacock blog ;)

It is my turn to post for you and I have a super birthday card to share with you :)  I received some super cute things in my peacock mail this month and among them were these cute balloon stickers and some awesome layered garden beauties.

I decided to use one of the cute little birthday bears that I got at the Silhouette's from  Miss Kate's Cuttables :) Then I added in some of those cute balloons and since my flower was a little too big I just separated the top part and used it and now I have the bottom that I can use on a different project. ( kinda a two for one deal lol :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!

For my project I made a quick and easy birthday card. Just make a base and by adding some of the fabulous layered garden beauty flowers along with one of the beautiful stick pins  you have a finished card that you can do in a matter of minutes.

I also added some washi tape that you can get from Pinque Peacock. It's my first time trying to use Washi tape LOL. Yes, I know I am behind the times  :)   I love this one though and had fun incorporating it into my birthday card. Aren't those butterflies just soo cute!

Silhouette Challenges Challenge #10

It's the time for more inspiration for our challenge over at

Ch# 10 Box Any Type
Begins: Saturday, February 1
Ends: Friday, February 28

A blog dedicated to the Silhouette Cutting Machines.
You MUST use a Silhouette somehow in your project.

Sponsor this month is:

This year I have decided to try and get some kind of organization in my craft room :)
So, for our box challenge I  made this stationary card box. I have tons of scrap paper and wanted to cut them down to use on cards.
I used a chevron embossing folder to add a little more dimension to it .

This is how it looks when it's open. I cut a few of my papers that I had handy and added them in.

I'm going to put all of my blue pre-cut papers in this one. I am going to make more in all of the different colors and add my papers by color in each one. I have a shelf that is on my desk and I thought it would look pretty to have a little rainbow on my desk hehe. Plus, it will be easy to grab the color that I need to finish my cards off :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and looking at my project for the challenge.

Hop on over and link up your project today.

Have a great day!
