Wild Card page 33

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have a card to show you today.  There are some awesome challenges going on and I thought I would enter this into a few of them.
The card base and layers are from page 33 on the Wild Card Cartridge.
I used LL  for the sentiment backing, and the sentiment came from Getting Cricky
"Scripture Sayings". I added some stickles to the butterflies and a couple black pearls and some ribbon that I got from Hobby Lobby. I really love the way it turned out. Usually I agonize over wether I should add something to it . But, this time it really came together quickly.
The challenges I am entering this into are:
Simply Sunday's Challenges - Use the colors black and orange
Flutter by Wednesdays- Anything goes make sure to add a butterfly, fairy or angel.
Thanks for stopping by,
See you again tomorrow with another Wild Card project!

Zumba anyone? !!

Hello everyone, I was going to try to have a post for you today....... but my sister talked me into going to a exercise dance class.   Since I have been feeling really run down lately, I decided that I should go and maybe if I get into the habit of excercising more, then hopefully I will start having a little more energy.  Boy!! It kicked my booty, but it was really fun.  You get to shake your booty and the hour really flies by.  So, I will get a post up for you tomorrow. I'm going to visit around a little and check out some of the challenges, so I can figure out what kind of project I want to try out.

Halloween challenges using Wild Card Cart

Hello everyone and I hope you are having a happy Thursday. I have a Halloween LO to share with you. As promised, I am using the Wild card cartridge for my LO.
I think it turned out pretty cute!! Oh, I mean scary lol, after all this is a halloween lo.
I used my MS drippy goo puch for the bottoms of the photo mat and journaling/photo mat...not sure what I am going to use it for yet. The little monster came from mini monsters, and from the wild card cart I used the spider web, happpy halloween sentiment, and the spider. I also used my stickles to add a little bit of bling to the spider and spider web and the twine for the photo mat...(I told you I was obsessed with that stuff lol).
I am entering this in a few challenges:
1.Amanda's Crafts and more- "Kooky & Spooky"
2.Fantabulos Cricut- "Purple People Eater"
4.Paper craft Star-" Trick or Treat"
Thanks everyone for stopping by and don't forget to check out my give-a-way if you haven't already.

"Boo-tiful"

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a happy Tuesday. I finally got the chance to sit down and make another card from the Wild Card Cart. I used my gypsy to hide the eyes and mouth so that I could use my Peachy keen Jack-o-lantern face stamps I just received. The face that cuts out is sort of scary and looks good, so you don't have to have a gypsy to hide the face but, I just couldn't resist using my cutie patootie PKS stamps. I just loooovvvveeee them.
I used my MS halloween pack for the paper and some glitter paper from colorbok. The ribbon is from hobby lobby and the stamp is Kristal's from Getting Cricky. I'm really liking this stamp set. Or can you tell hehe. I think I have used it on the last 3 projects I have done. lol
Thanks for stopping by, see you again tomorrow with another project(fingers crossed )

Sick husband!!!

Hello to all of my bloggy friends. I am sorry I haven't gotten to post anything for several days. I had intended to make several cards this weekend from my Wild Card Cartridge, since I am giving one away for my Blog-a-versary at the end of this month. But, my dear hubby ended up sick......and if your married you know that it is pretty much like having a small child to take care of hehe. You can't get out of their sight lol.
So, I promise I will make some projects  tomorrow after work and post them for you. I really wanted to show you everything this cart has. I think it is a fantastic cartridge, it has a font, cards and envelopes(of course lol) but it also has other features that you can use as embellishments also. I think I will try to make a layout and use some of the other features on it. Although I do have some cards lined up in my Gypsy to get cut and assembled. Thank goodness for my gypsy, since it is portable I could work on some things and still be near hubby so he didn't think he was being abandoned lol. He really is a good husband, but when they get sick they get a little needy. Who doesn't like to be babied when they are sick though? So I can't really say much. See you tomorrow evening with something . Promise :-p

Challenges and Wild Card #2

Good evening my bloggie friends. I have another wild card cut for you today. I am going to be showcasing this cartridge so that you can see all the great features it has on it, in case you are the lucky winner of my drawing. You still have time to enter for the cartridge if you would like. I won't be picking a winner until the end of the month. If you want to see more about it just click here.
For todays cut I used the monster card, it is a really simple cut. The face is sort of oblong, but I wanted it more rounded so I just trimmed it a little and put the awesome Peachy Keen face on it . Isn't their new stamp set awesome!! Since I just recently received my stamp sets from Getting Cricky, I have been using them quite a bit lately too. They are so versatile. The one I am using today is  the Fall-o-ween set. It has sentiments on it for halloween and fall. AWESOME. A 2 for 1 kinda set (love those!!).
             On to my treat bag......

I also used one of the cuts that was on the liner feature key...(it was for the birtday present card)  to stamp my sentiment on. It reminded me of a coffin look. The top had a little bit of a curve to it, but I just trimmed it straight. That's the wonderful thing about crafting, you can do whatever you want and make things that would normally be for a certain thing ito something completely different. lol
I just took the card and attached it to some more cardstock for a background then attached it to my bag. That way I can write a little something in there for my nephew, to go along with all his treats that will be in the bag ;)  I also used my shaped scissors for the top of the bag to give it a different look. The awesome twine is from My Craft spot..(I have been addicted to this stuff lately, I am using it on everything hehe).
For the filler paper I wanted it a little torn, soooo I ran it through my shredder a little then just reversed it so it would give me back my paper without completely shredding the whole thing. See anything can be a crafting tool. lol The paper is MS a pack I bought last year at Michaels.
Well, I think that is about all of the details of this project.
I am going to enter this into a few challenges...

Thanks for stopping by

It really is a bang for your buck cartridge.
      Now on to my project...
This is the gift box cut that is in the handbook. I cut it at 7" and am going to put a few special treats in it for my neices and nephews when they come over trick-or -treating.
I also used the little monster cut from mini monsters and put the googly eyes on him. Aren't they just the cutest ,lol. I used the MS border punch for the drippy goo on my sentiment and rounded out the corners.
That fantastic twine is from My craft spot
and the awesome stamp is from Getting Cricky.
To check out more of their awesome twine  or stamps, just click on their link above. :)

Happy 18th...

Today I have a card to show you.  I made this card for my daughter. She turned 18 a couple of weeks ago , and I didn't get a chance to post it. While I actually have a computer that is wanting to work with me, I figured I should post something QUICKLY!! hehe.
Anyway, she is the middle child and was super excited to be turning 18, I on the other hand was not. It seems like my babies are growing so fast. I am very proud of her though, she is a really good kid. She started college the end of August and wants to be a Pediatric Nurse. It will be a lot of hard work for her, but she is a very smart girl(if I do say so myself) and I know she can do it.
     Now on to my card..........

I'm also entering this into Birthday Sundaes Challenge- Use ribbon

I cut the cake from Celbrate the Occasion Cartridge
The circle mats were cut from Plantain School Book Cartridge
I used my Martha Stewart punch and punched the flower border on both sides
of my strip across the bottom and used some polka dot ribbon that I got
from Hobby lobby to accent it and a my gelly roll pen to stich around the circle.

Another Simply Betty Digi

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a happy Tuesday. It was a workday for me, but I wanted to show you another cute digi that I got from Simply Betty Digis. If you haven't yet please visit her blog and read her story. Grab some Kleenex first. I mentioned in my post Sunday that I really had never used digis before. I'm no artist so getting all the coloring and shading is going to be a learning process for me.
I am very tenderhearted, and when I heard  Betty's story I knew that I had to purchase some of her digis. So, I will try to get the ones that I bought up and posted between this week and next week.
This digi has the pumpkins on it and would be super cute for Fall cards or even Thanksgiving, but I put some jack-o-lantern faces on them to make it more of a Halloween card. This digi is from Betty's Jude and the Rockers collection that she has:

I am going to enter this into a few challenges..
1. My Craft Spot-Too cute to spook!
2.Fantabulous Cricut- Pumpkins
3. Throwback Thursday- Font cart (I used Storybook for the Leaves)
4.Card Makin Mamas- Folds (Mine is a Gatefold)
The sentiment is from Gettting Cricky's Fall-o-ween stamp set  i'ts a great set you can see more about it over here, and the awesome twine is from My Craft Spot, you can click the link above to check out their great colors of twine and crinkle ribbon.

Four Legged Friends

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful day today or had a wonderful day, depending on where you are. My day is almost over and I need to go to bed. I just wanted to share a card that I made several days ago. I have had the  Cricut lite Four Legged Friends cartridge since last Christmas and have never used it. ( I know,  I know) I'm a bad cricut mommy!! LOL

I had initially planned on making it and putting it in a challege. But, with my current computer situation. I am having to go between 2 different computers just to get my posts up. lol. I do have good news though... my new computer is on its way YEEEAAAAHHH.  Then I won't have to run back and forth and wait on someone to finish using the computer so that I can use it. :-o
I have a couple more posts that I am working on and will have them up for you tomorrow and Wednesday. So, stop by and visit with me.

Simply Betty and a challenge...

Hello everyone, I saw something today that broke my heart.  Betty and her son are going through some really tough times right now. They found out that he has throat cancer..you can read about it here
at her Simply Betty Blog....
I have 3 children of my own and cannot even begin to imagine the trials that they are going through right now. She has released her Fall digis early and marked them down from the original prices, so that she can use that money to offset the costs that she is going to have after the insurance pays their part. As we all know even after insurance pays, you are left with a TON of bills. Doctors don't come cheap, especially doctors that specialize in a certain area of medicine.

I have never used digis before, but
I have seen them used by many people and think that they are just adorable. I had thought about trying them out when I could afford some copics or was able to find some prismacolor pencils. (That is what I have seen the majority of crafters using), but after seeing Betty's dilemma I decided what better time than now to purchase some digis. And, let me tell you she has some awesome ones to offer, even in the stamp variety too. I saw this digi and it made me smile. It reminded me of when I was a child and my children were little sticking their tongues out to catch the snow. LOL So, I just had to get this one. I just used the markers and pens I had on hand, because I wanted to get this up so that I could spread the word for Betty. I also bought several more of the fall ones. I will try to post them up this week also.
I know this is a long post, but I am almost done I promise lol.I'm going to enter this into a few challenges
I figured the more places I can enter this  the more traffic Betty will get.
1. Robyn over at My Pink Stamper is having a Christmas challenge
2.Scrapalicious USA ---Anything goes
3.Whimsical Wednesdays ---Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out Betty's awesome stamps. Also you may want to get the kleenex if your anything like me.
