Happy Birthday and a Challenge

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a card I made for a challenge. (Edit: I missed the challenge..thought I had until today to get it posted, but it was last night :( That's okay though you win some you lose some hehe. But, here is my card anyway.....
I am entering this into the M.A.G Challenge.. you have to use page  49 in the Wild Card Cartridge. I decided to use a few elements from the page. I used the Card feature for the base, then I used the square-ish frame  and some glitter paper for the "cake" and the i alphabet feature for the "candles". I used the MS drippy goo punch for the icing on the cake and used some glossy accents to make it shiny. I also cut out a shape to stamp my sentiment on and used the TPC Studios stamps for the Happy Birthday Sentiment.
This is the page:

Thanks for stopping by, and as always I LOOOVVVEEE comments hehe.

Peek a boo!

Hello ladies and gents. I hope you are having a happy  Tuesday evening. I wanted to get a quick post up.
Since, I have been a little lacking in that department. :(  Not purposely though...there are just times that things(ie...computers lol) just don't work the way you want them to.

I made this layout with Pooh and friends. I really like the cuts that have Pooh and all his friends peeking over things. I made this layout to put into a baby book for a friend of mine, and since you always play peek a boo with babies(that's a must do for all people...isn't it??) Well, for me it is anyway lol. This page was supposed to have went up before the one that posted yesterday...but heh that's pretty much the way things go around here. Not really according to plan. LOL
I have really missed sharing my creations with you and hopefully things will go a little smoother, (fingers crossed). Thanks so much for stopping by.

Page 2

Good afternoon, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday. It's the beginning of the work week for me. So, I am just going to try to make the best of it, and try to get some crafting in. That always makes the days better :)
The colors on this didn't turn out as well. the paper I used is really pretty\and has some glitter on them. I wish I could have photographed it a little better so that you could see it. You will just have to take my word on it hehe. (I promise it is very pretty)
This is the second page to the layout I showed you yesterday.(Well, it was supposed to go up yesterday, but there was a little bit of a glitch) I will try to get it to go up tomorrow :-) The colors on them are the same and I also got the cut from Pooh and Friends. I thought that Roo and his mom would be a great little cut to go in the baby book.
Thanks for stopping by.

Second page Halloween LO

Hello everyone, I'm finally back!! I reaaaallllyyyyy need a new computer. It decided to take a vacation(and forgot to tell me!!).  I finally got it to work for me so I hurried up an uploaded this picture of a LO I had made.

I decided to make a second page to my LO that I made earlier this week. I used the same pattern paper from MS and just added the pumpkin, spider, spider web and photo frames. I also used a little gauze around the larger photo mat. This page had a black zig zag border at the top which sort of reminded me of  Frankensteins hair. (LOL) Since I wanted to use the spider and web, I decided that a drippy goo border would look better. I am also entering this into the Simply Sunday's Challenge
The rules are easey....
1.Post any "Halloween" project of your choice & link up by 9/24/2011
2.Post as many projects as you want that fit the criteria
3.Make sure her blinkie is up on your sidebar, and your blog post entry is linked back to her blog.
4.Leave a comment, and have FUN!!

So, that is it for today. I uploaded a few more pics, so that I would have them ready for the next couple of days. As I said earlier..my computer and I aren't really getting along hehe.

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. I wanted to share a LO with you today. I am entering this into the Simply Sunday's Challenge ..... the challenge is any project with a halloween theme.
This  is a really simple and quick Halloween LO that I made using some really great paper from the MS holiday collection I got last year at Michael's and the All Seasons Pack, that I got at Hobby Lobby. I made 3 cuts for this page....
the ghost(from my all time favorite) Paper Doll Dress Up.
the witch(I just used the shifted feature and cut it out on black cardstock), and the phrase are from Happy Hauntings

Birthday boy

Hello to everyone, so glad that you stopped by. For todays LO, this is one of the pages of the baby book I was telling you about yesterday. Pooh is from Pooh and Friends and the cake is from the smiley cart that Provo Craft was letting you upload for free if you owned or purchased a gypsy last year. I also used my MS punch on  the journaling spot and I got the balloons from Celebrations.
I really liked the background colors, so I tried to incorporate them into the  embellishments. I think it turned out nicely. Thanks for stopping by.

"Boys will be boys"

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a very happy humpday!! I had to work today, but since I have been gone for sooo long. I thought I would load this up for you so that you could see part of the reason I have been neglecting my blog( well....seems more like abandoned, but I really have been super busy:)
I have really missed you all and am glad to be back. I can't wait to check out all of your blogs and see what you have been up to.
This LO was made for a baby book that I was asked to make and then a friend at work wanted me to make a retirement book for a lady at work. She is just the sweetest, kindest person you could ever meet, so how could I say no. Anyway, that is why I have been gone for a while. I have been working nonstop on the 2 albums to get them done in time. Believe me 21 years worth of pictures takes a lot of pages hehe. I'm really gonna miss her, but am glad that she is going to get to enjoy life with her husband now. I wish her all the best.
