Snowman Chocolate bar Wrapper

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful day. I just wanted to jump on here while I had a minute and show you this adorable snowman wrapper that I made.
I'm sure you have been seeing these all over the place. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and downloaded a super cute face and buttons for  the snowman, but my computer knowledge( or should I say lack of computer knowledge) prevented me from acutally getting it sized right. lol. I really need to figure this technical stuff out. But, anyway... I have those awesome Peachy faces so to the rescue they came!!
Isn't he cute? I absolutely love , love, love, Peachy Keen.
The cute little sentiment and the snowflake buttons came from the Winter Wishes  stamp set from Getting Cricky.
Thanks for stopping by.

A spirelli card

Hello to all my bloggie friends!! I hope you are having a wonderful "hump" day. I don't really feel like I am over the hump yet lol, still feels like I am going uphill. Don't you just hate it when you are dying to craft, but just have to take care of other things first? That is about the way I am feeling. I have my Imagine sitting in my craft room looking lonely and I can't get the time to craft on it. But I did make this card before I got my Imagine up and running(had a little problem with the first one I got so I found a store that still had some left, boy was I lucky). Now onto the card. I saw this kind of card on someone's blog and they had gotten the idea from Splitcoast Stampers (I just love them, they are super talented and make so many different kinds of cards). They also give great instructions!! Well, I guess I better quit talking your ear off and show you the card huh?? Okay, here it is....
I made it with the gem in the middle then I took it out. Couldn't decide which way I liked it better. What do you think?? They are really easy to make. You can make them with a scallop circle or anything with ridges . I used a snowflake from Desingers Calendar cartridge. The awesome sentiment is one from Kristal over at Getting Cricky. Thought I would enter it into a couple challenges.

Got scraps??

Hello everyone. I have a card for you today. I made this one out of mostly my scraps.
There was a challenge going on  to use your scraps and get them out of the way for new stuff (we all know that's coming lol), but for the life of me I cannot remember where I saw that at?!
Well, I found this scrap piece of cream paper in my scrap bin, I used it to cut out an image(if you know what it is PLEASE tell me, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what I cut with it hehe). It sort of looked like a butterfly to me with the wings and all??
I had initially grabbed it out because I got a couple distress inks (walnut stain, and wild honey) and wanted to play around with how to use them. I got the wrong pads, (according to Emma on My Creative time) she just did a video using them and she got the same ones that I got then figured out your supposed to get the spongy ones. Glad I'm not the only one grabbing the wrong things lol.  Anyway.....I decided to try out the pads that I had just to see what it would look like.  This is what I came up with, I thought the fibers of the pad gave it a unique look.

Not sure about this one. I thought the shadow of the image would look good darkened up with the brown. I had to layer it a few times just so it would fit on my A2 size card, since it was just a scrap piece of paper to begin with. I also used the Scripture sayings from Getting Cricky. I didn't think the distress inking turned out too badly for my first time. What do you think??

I took the Plunge!!

Good morning to all my crafty friends. What did you get for the big Black Friday event??
Well..... I took the plunge and got the imagine!! It is still in the box and I haven't opened it up yet lol.
I am still deciding wether I want to keep it or not.
I have been looking at all the youtube videos with the Imagine and it is looking pretty promising to me. I still want to check it out further before I decide to keep it or not. ( I just couldn't pass up the $187.00 price tag on this machine :) and they only had one left when I got off work, so I just HAD to grab it hehe.

If anyone has any comments on the Imagine that may sway my decision wether to keep it or not. Please let me know.

Pop up Stage Card

Hello everyone, I know it has been a few days since my last post. Been super busy with work and everything else. :(
I saw this card a few weeks ago and I have been wanting to make one because they look soo cool!
It is a pop up stage card and I saw the tutorial for it over at Splitcoast Stampers, I love that site they are sooo talented!!
This is the card closed. I made a little wrapper to go around it to keep it closed . I made it loose so that it would be easy to take off and put back on. Then I stamped the sentiment on it.
This is the card opened. I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge. If you need any of the sizes just let me know and I will post it.
I also use the Pks Happy Lashes Face Assortment  stamp set for the sun and I used stickles on the balloons and ribbon on the gift boxes. The gift boxes were fairly small and I was afraid the ribbons would not cut well, so I just used the cricut markers to draw it out first then cut out the outside of the gifts with my cricut.
I am entering this into Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by,

Cricut Imagine bundle...

Hello everyone. I thought I would share some news with all of you. You may have already seen it, but just in case you haven't... on the Friday after Thanksgiving Wal-Mart is having the Cricut  Imagine bundle in their ad. It is going to be priced at 189.00 and it comes with 2 cartridges. It sounds like a pretty good deal.
I have been going back and forth on the Imagine. I don't know if it is something I really want or not?
I like that you can create your own paper, but not really sure about the pros and cons on this one.How much ink you go through? How much the ink for them cost? If  you have any comments on the Imagine, please let me know. I would appreciate any information on it.

Warm Wishes

Hi all! Hope you are having a very happy Sunday. For today I want to share with you a shaped card I made using Doodlecharms Cartridge.
I put glossy accents on the steam coming up from the mug of cocoa, although I don't think you can see it too well.  (I'm not a coffee fan so I am calling it cocoa hehe).

I got the scarf from paper doll dress up and the cutie patootie face is from Peachy Keen Stamps.
The sentiment is from Getting Cricky  Winter Wishes Set. The mug is from gypsy wanderings.
I think it turned out super adorable. I am entering this into a couple of challenges today:
1.Simply Sundays- projects with a hot beverage
2. Card makin mamas- "Cut it out"

Thanks so much for stopping by, and if your feeling up to a challenge hop on over to these awesome blogs and enter your project.

I wanted to share a card with you. I recently got the Disney Classics Cartridge (have I mentioned I LOVE all things Disney lol)??

As I was saying ...I just got my cartridge and was looking at the booklet and it has the cutest card in the front of it with Flower the skunk. I had never made this kind of card before so I thought I would give it a go. It is called a pocket card.  It has a little pocket in the middle behind the rabbit, that I could stick a little sucker or something in.
See on this one I put a little pack of peanut M&M's in the pocket....isn't it cute!!

My oh my where has my memory gone!!

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a happy Tuesday. I don't know where in the world my head has been this month. I think it went on vacation and forgot to invite me lol. I forgot not 1, not 2 but 3 birthdays!!! I would always think about them the week before then by the time it got to it, I would   forget:(
I made this card for one of my friends at work, I let her birthday slip by me without telling her "happy birthday".  I also made her a cake and some of those yummy no-bake cookies. Figured I would really sweeten her up, so she would forgive me hehe.
I used the elephant from Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Lite cartridge. I thought it was ironic since an elephant is supposed to represent a good memory. (Something I was lacking last month).

This was the inside of the card. I got this new punch aat michaels and just had to use it. The paper was the scrap paper left over from making the card and I decided to use it for the inside.
I am entering this card into Birthday Sundaes-- Birthday Card
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow and see who the lucky winner of the Wild Card Cartridge is!!
Thanks for stopping by

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have a card to show you today.  There are some awesome challenges going on and I thought I would enter this into a few of them.
The card base and layers are from page 33 on the Wild Card Cartridge.
I used LL  for the sentiment backing, and the sentiment came from Getting Cricky
"Scripture Sayings". I added some stickles to the butterflies and a couple black pearls and some ribbon that I got from Hobby Lobby. I really love the way it turned out. Usually I agonize over wether I should add something to it . But, this time it really came together quickly.
The challenges I am entering this into are:
Simply Sunday's Challenges - Use the colors black and orange
Flutter by Wednesdays- Anything goes make sure to add a butterfly, fairy or angel.
Thanks for stopping by,
See you again tomorrow with another Wild Card project!

Zumba anyone? !!

Hello everyone, I was going to try to have a post for you today....... but my sister talked me into going to a exercise dance class.   Since I have been feeling really run down lately, I decided that I should go and maybe if I get into the habit of excercising more, then hopefully I will start having a little more energy.  Boy!! It kicked my booty, but it was really fun.  You get to shake your booty and the hour really flies by.  So, I will get a post up for you tomorrow. I'm going to visit around a little and check out some of the challenges, so I can figure out what kind of project I want to try out.
