Pooh "nap time"

Hello everybody and happy Saturday to you. I have a LO for you today. It's actually a 2 page LO that I made for a friend of mine.

I used Winnie the Pooh for this one. I really like the cartridge and alot of the cuts on there are really easy to assemble.
I'm really sorry about the picture quality. It seems that it really doesn't matter how I photograph them. With a light without a light, in the morning evening or night, they all seem to turn out the same way :(

Well, enough of my ranting lol. I really liked the way the LO's turned out regardless of my lack of skill in picture taking hehe.
Thanks for stopping by.

"Back to School Blog Hop" Day 2

Hello everyone, and welcome back to day 2  of the Back to School Blog Hop. It's that time of year again when the kiddos are gathering up their backpacks, sharpening their pencils, polishing their apples and are headed back to school. What a better way to celebrate than with a BLOG HOP!

Along the way you will find such wonderful projects such as gifts for teachers, classroom ideas, scrapbook layouts, cards, and more.

Please be sure to visit every blog and leave a comment to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE your choice of 5 Digi Stamps from Jen's Digi Stamps. You will love these cute stamps that are perfect for every occasion and creation.

If you came here from Kacee's blog then you are in the right place. If you didn't and you just stopped by that's okay go back to the beginning at Blessed On The Bright Side and Hop with us. You will find lots of talented designing friends on this hop and you don't want to miss a single one!!

For my project today, I made a mini album out of toilet paper rolls. I flattened all of the rolls and ran my bone folder over the edges and then I inked all the edges with primary colors. I then measured from side to side and top to bottom cut my paper and glued them to the rolls. Then I cut a  tag and rounded the corners for the pictures or journaling.
Here is a video I made to show you all the different pages.

Before you go...I have some candy a $10.00 gift certificate for Peachy Keen Stamps ( now who doesn't LOVE   PKS)!

All you have to do is:
1: Follow my blog and,
2: Leave me a comment.

                       That's it. EASY PEASY!!

I will let Random. Org pick the lucky winner on Monday 8/15.

Now head on over to Miss Cindy Lou's "classroom" and see what awesome  project she has for you, hehe.

For my project, I made a super simple post it note holder.  I thought this paper was really cute, and no back to school project would be complete without an apple for the teacher. Although I think the worm has his own ideas. haha

This is the front of my post it note holder....
I made a slit for the little pen to slide into, but got so excited to get my pictures uploaded that I forgot to put it in there LOL (it goes right beside the apple in that little slit on the side). I got the sentiment from the TPC Studios "Greetings ". I thought it would be perfect for my little teacher gift. :)
The adorable little faces are from PKS.

This is the back..isn't that paper the cutest!! I got it at Hobby Lobby in the single sheet section.

....and this is the inside. The measurement for this is 7 3/4 x 3 1/4.
Scored at 3 1/8, 3 1/2 and 3 7/8.
Before you go...I have some candy

My baby's birthday

Hello everyone, I have a birthday card for you today. Saturday was my baby's 17th birthday. Yes, I know 17 isn't a baby anymore..:( I still think of her as my baby and always will.

It is hard to believe that all my babies are growing up so fast!!
It just seems like yesterday that I brought my oldest home. Time sure does fly by.

The happy birthday is from TPC Studios, and the cupcake is from Home Decor. Paper is from my scraps and the ribbon is from Ribbon Botique.

I used some birthday stamps that I had (can't remember the name..sorry) and I made up the sentiment and printed it off on my computer.
Thanks for stopping by!
Don't forget we have the Back to School Blog Hop starting tomorrow.
See you tomorrow.

More pics of Carolina :o)

Hello  and good afternoon to all my bloggie friends. I have a few more pics from my trip last week.  We had a really good time checking out all the vendor shops they had with their hand made items, and the other shops too.
I had to take this picture...I just love seeing streets that are paved with brick or cobblestone, such a difference of effect than plain ol black tar( or whatever they use to pave the streets with) lol.

I thought this was neat too.. looks like surfboards. You can tell it is worn a little, but I still liked the concept of it.

This is the poster outside the candy shop they have there..boy was my sweet tooth in heaven. haha. They had so many delicious looking treets in there!! They also had gelato which is like an ice cream, that I have never tried before. I have to say it was pretty delish!! Especially on a hot summer day yummmm.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an awesome day!!

I'm back!!

Hello everyone :)  I hope you are having a wonderful day. I just wanted to say that I am sorry for not posting much on my blog the last couple of weeks. I have been on vacation this past week. I really wanted to try to put some posts up for while I was gone, but it had been so hectic at work and home before we left that I really didn't get a chance to.
Soo I have a few pics to share with you. I forgot to take my camera (I know)!! I am a scrapper and forgot to take my camera on vacation. Where was my head?? That should have been the 1st thing I thought of hehe. We went to Carolina and so I used my I pod to take some pics while we were in downtown Charleston. Thank goodness for everything that has cameras on them now lol. I thought I would share some of them with you for the next few days.

Thanks so much for  hanging in there with me while I was missing hehe.
See you again tomorrow with some more pics.
