Hello everyone and Happy Easter!

It is time for another challenge at Red Carpet Studio.

I decided to make a card since our fabulous sponser provided us with one of thier oh so cute stamp sets!!

I used the bunny from the stamp set and paper pieced the cutie then cut out the flowers and used my spectrum noir markers to color them :)
Papers are from My Minds Eye 6x6  pad.

Our sponser for this week is Verve Stamps
They are offering the lucky winner a $30 gift certificate !

Hoppity , hop, hop on over and get your project in and the lucky winner could be you :)

Stilletto anyone??

Hello my wonderful friends! Thank you so much for stopping by :)

It is my turn to post my wonderful Pinque Peacock project for you today.  I had quite a few credits at the Silhouette store that are about to expire, so while I was browsing around. I came across this beauty...

This is  a close up of the beautiful button :)

It was way to cute not to buy and I knew I could dress it right up with some Peacock goodness and make it even more prettier than it already was :) Nothing like adding a little personalization to your wardrobe hehe.  I used one of the Pinque Peacock fabric covered buttons, some ribbon from 3 girl jam and a string of pearls to add an extra flair to it.

   Have a great day!!

Senior pic

Hi and welcome! I'm glad you stopped by :)

We have a challenge starting today at Red Carpet Studio and it is one that I am sure most of us can relate to if your anything like me that is hehe.

Our challenge is  Inspired by film reels... use ribbon on your layout, now I am totally addicted to ribbon. I can't seem to go to the craft store without buying some kind of ribbon! So, this challenge was right up my alley :-D I decided to finally scrap one of my daughter's senior pictures from last year. I loved the picture and decided to bring the colors from it onto my page.

I  am not totally happy with my layout but it's close to what I wanted. I wanted to tweak it a little, especially the ribbon on the bottom. Not quite liking the way it looks crinkled up on the end and where it comes off the orange paper :( but, life kinda got in the way and I didn't get to re-do the parts I didn't like. That happens sometimes and I guess I need to stop being such a hard critic on myself LOL.

I did however like the little flowers that I made out of the ribbon that I used on the bottom :) I have never made those before , but thought they turned out pretty well for my first time! I used several different things on this layout. I used some TH ink and the dream ticket ,  the We are Memory keepers Deco and Stub punch, liquid pearls and perfect pearls.

Our sponser this week is  LoveBug Creations - http://lovebugcreations3.blogspot.com/
and they are offering the winner their choice of 12 yard set of ribbon

You have until the 24th to link up your creation to win this awesome prize! Head on over to RCS and show us your fabulous layout with ribbon. Such an easy challenge and you could win my favorite embellishment RIBBON hehe. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Have a great day!

March Calendar

Good morning and welcome! I am really glad you stopped by today.

I am so excited to share with you a project that I made using the awesome goodness that is made at the Pinque Peacock!!

I am on a facebook group called Play Along and we have challenges just for fun and one of them was to make Calendar pages...so I made a calendar page for March and added the cute little felt purple popper (say that 3 time fast hehe!!) with the beautiful covered button in the middle:)

I loved how it tied in with the purple shamrocks on my paper. I have never really made calendar pages before, but I can see me making more of these! Just a little something different and I can leave it out during the month so that I have something to look at to keep up with the date..Bonus!! Then when the month is over I can add a picture from that month and add it to my scrapbook lol.

This little felt flower is just one of the beautiful things that you can get over at the Pinque Peacock:) They have fabric covered buttons, felt flowers, fabric flowers, pins and custom order bracelets. Just to name a few!! You really do need to hop on over and check it out!! Nothing but happy goodness over there :D

I am entering this project into the Craftin Desert Diva's linky party anything goes here :)

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Sisters

Hi!! Welcome to my blog :) I am glad you stopped by and have a layout to share with you.

We have a challenge that is currently going on over at the Red Carpet Studio Challenge blog and it is REALLY simple.. just make a layout and add buttons. See...I told you it was simple :D

Our current challenge is based on the movie "Benjiman Button" hence the usage of buttons LOL.

For my layout I decided to use regular buttons and fabric covered buttons.

These are my two girls making their usual faces lol. I think everytime they take a picture they have to make some kind of face other than a smile LOL. I have to admit they keep me laughing though :)

I saw this layout a several months ago and loved it, so I saved it so that I could scraplift it, but can't remember where I saw it  :( ... If anyone knows please let me know so that I can give proper credit.

I had just gotten some fabric covered buttons from Pinque Peacock and was dying to use them on something and then I remembered having this paper stack and knew they would go perfectly with it!
I have a small problem with paper..I can't stop myself from buying it!! I still have papers that I bought years ago and haven't used up. Yet when I see a paper stack in the store I can't keep myself from bringing it home hehe. I am sure that I am the only one with this problem...yeah right! LOL

These are a couple close up pics of the buttons ....

Aren't they just too cute!   Love that blue jean fabric:D

Okay ladies and gents... now it's your turn to  show us a layout using buttons. If you would like to enter in our challenge you could win an awesome prize.
What is the prize, You say??... well let me tell you!

It is the fabulous  Surf's Up Paper Packet & Patterned Pennants Stamp Set

Provided by the awesome
Close to My Heart Consultant Janet Royer -  You can find this and other awesome crafting goodies at her website here... http://janetscreativeworld.ctmh.com/

Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time with me
Have a great day!!

Lucky Leprechaun Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 1 of the Lucky Leprechaun Blog Hop, brought to you by the layout design team of Red Carpet Studio!

If you just came from   Red Carpet Studio's blog then you are in the right place. If not just hop on over there  to get this party started!!

This hop was put together to share with you fun and creative ideas for St. Patrick's Day projects along with an introduction to our new design team members AND officially announce our March Lucky Link-Up contest!

Before we get to all that fun information, I'd like to share my project with you. I created a little home decor item.... A Leprechaun Hat that holds a little suprise inside :D
My little  nuggets of gold look yummy don't they ?? LOL
The bottom of the hat has an opening so I have a small jar that fits under there with my delicious little gold pieces hiding in there :D  That's one way to keep the hubby out of my Rolo's hehe.

I cut all the pieces for this project with my Silhouette. The hat was a cut file that I purchased from the Silhouette store:)  I added some bling onto the four leaf clovers and a little twine onto the buckle and that is it! A really simple project.

And of course we have some wonderful sponsors giving away prizes to those who comment both days on every stop of the hop. :)

3 digis of winner's choice

6 digital image sets

5 digital stamps

$10 gift certificate

Winners will be announced at Red Carpet Studio on Tuesday March 5th along with the winners of our wedding/anniversary card challenge.
