Love is in the Air Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 2 of the Love is in the Air Blog Hop, brought to you by the Layout design team from Red Carpet Studio!

If you haven't hopped through Day 1 yet, make sure to do so!

This weekend the Red Carpet Studio design team would like to share with you love-themed projects to inspire you during this Valentine's Day season. Throughout the hop you'll see a variety of projects and we hope one or more of these wonderful creations inspire you to create. :)

If you've come from the wonderfully talented  Stephanie's blog, you're in the right place. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please visit Red Carpet Studio.

For today's hop I made...2 things!! I know, I am really on the ball hehe. I  first made a charger plate, then I decided to make a card too. I just couldn't resist :)

I have seen people doing the charger plates and picked up a few around Christmas, but never did anything with them. Since, I had a red one I decided to do one for Valentines day....I downloaded the heart image in the Silhouette store and think it is just beautiful :)  Then I made up the  sentiment to go on it and added the hearts on the sides to finish filling it up. I thought I did pretty well for my first one lol.

okay now on to my second project for you wonderful  hoppers ....
my card...isn't it beautiful !!! No, I'm not bragging on myself. I actually got this cut file from a wonderful woman that has all kinds of free cut files( how awesome is that!!! I love, love, love free lol) you can find this cut file and many more here at Birds Cards. She has so many beautiful cards and things on her site...warning ....when you go over there make sure you have alot of time to spend looking at everthing  :D  To add that special touch to my card,  I   used one of  the beautiful angel pins that I purchased from The Pinque Peacock you can find the pins I  used here ..they have some amazingly beautiful items that will add that special touch to all of your projects :)  The stamp set I used is from Docerela :)

I'm linking this up to the challenge going on over at Whimsical Designs "All about Love"

I've been a follower of your wodnerful blog for awhile. Like the charger plate & card. Have bought some of the charger plates but have yet to do anything with them. You've inspired me to gie it a try. The stick pin on the Valentine card is a nice added touch.
