Back to School Blog Hop

Welcome to the Back to School Blog Hop, brought to you by the fabulous design teams of Made Especially For You and the GoFish Challenge Blog!

These two design teams have joined together to bring you some fun and crafty inspiration to help you get started on those back to school projects! If you've just come across the hop and would like to start at the beginning, please visit Made Especially For You.

I decided to make 2 projects for the hop, I have made a card and a gift for the teacher...
First up is my card
                                                               Paper: All seasons stack
Die cut- Create a critter
Stamps- Hampton art and TPC studios
Distress inks- Tumbled glass and Wild honey
MS double rings punch
White signo gel pen

and this is my teacher gift...
a pack of pencils:)

The "Pencils" are made out of rolos
                                                              and hershey kisses:)

here are all the supplies I used
(yep..my MS scorer is kinda MIA at the moment so I used the one that came in my tools kit lol)
I also used some decorative scissors to cut the ends of the yellow paper to give it that sharpened look.
paper  dimensions are:
Yellow-3 1/2 x 4 1/2 (I scored it at 1/2 inch intervals)
Pink-3 1/2 x 1
1" circles
3 1/2 x 3/8" aluminum foil
(a piece of advice.. I don't know about your paper cutter, but mine did not fair well with aluminum foil. It ended up tearing it... The best way I found to cut it was to lightly score it on my MS score board and then cut it with my scissors:)

Love the card and the pencils are so fun! I made them a few years back for the teachers where I work as the office manager. I think I found the idea in an issue of Creating Keepsake magazine. They were a big hit! TFS
