Paper piercing project....

Happy Monday to everyone!! I know Monday's usually aren't that happy for most. It means going back to work, but it's memorial day so there are some that don't have to work. Like my hubby and son are off (I unfortunantly am not :(   , but to those who are good for you!! Enjoy the day :)
Now on to the challenge from MEFY. For this week we were to make a card with paper piercing. I have never done paper piercing before, but I have to say while I was looking around at different paper piercing I found alot of different ways to do it. It really can add a different look to your cards with minimal effort :) All you need is something soft like a mouse pad and something to poke the holes with..that's pretty much it lol.
For this challenge our sponser is  Adams Acres - http://www.adamsacres.com/
and they are giving a $10 gift certificate for you to choose anything of your liking from their store. How fantastic is that ! Awesome stuff   :-P
So get your craft on and head on over and enter your paper piercing project.

On another note :
I wanted to apologize for my lack of posting...this month has been really hard on me. My mom has not been doing well at all with her chemo and my daughter had a wreck on her way to graduation practice. Her car went all the way up to the windshield underneath a truck. (She was not hurt just bruised,  pretty sore, and a black eye.. it could have been much much worse looking at the car!)
For this reason I am soo thankful that God was watching over her and my sentiment on my card for today is  how I feel. So blessed that he took care of my baby girl.
The sentiment and stamp is from a Close to my heart stamp set (Blessed) that I recieved in a RAK, and I colored the stamp in with my distress inks. (My first time, hopefully I can get  better at it lol) The scallop is from the lacy labels lite cricut cartridge.
Thanks so much for stopping by:) I am looking forward to seeing your entry in the challenge !
(:(:Smiles:):)

Hey, Robin -- It was so nice to see your comment today!! Thanks so much for stopping by...

Your card is beautiful -- we certainly do need to remember how blessed we truly are...

I'm so glad to hear that your daughter is okay (my son wrecked on the way to his graduation too!! They must get distracted by all that excitement -- I'm so thankful he was okay too -- your message was a reminder to me to STILL be thankful).

BIG HUGS,
