A quick note.

For anyone wanting to get some of the cricut lite cartridges or didn't get to get any of the special ones they had for the after Thanksgiving sale....Walmart is having a cyber week special 2 cricut lite carts for 45 dollars. That's a pretty good deal, since they are regularly 39 dollars a piece. They only have 4 of the carts that they had on Black Friday.. Twinkle Toes, Cupcake, Zoo Day and Inspired Heart.. sadly I didn't see the Jolly Holidays on there :(  So if your looking for some lite carts at a pretty good price then you'll have to head on over there while the sale is still going on. Hope this was helpful to someone. Have a good night, and thanks for dropping by.

Although my WONDERFUL daughters did brave the sale for me and  got some of my wishlist items including the cricut lites that were on sale. ( I feel so loved !) Can't wait  to use the Jolly Holidays. It looks so cute!!

Meredithscraps challenge

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a good day. I made this card for a challenge over at  http://www.meredithscraps.com/2010/11/christmas-card-challenge-sponsored-by.html . (I have had it ready for a couple of days, but I am finally getting the time to post it!)  She has some great stuff. When you get a chance go over and check her blog out. This is the first tri-fold card I have ever made. Thought it would be neat to try new kinds of cards. Hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by .

Bowling anyone??

I had these pictures from a few years ago that I hadn't scrapped yet , so I thought I would get going and get it done. I didn't have any carts with a bowling theme on it ( not really sure that I have seen any out there)
so I decided to make my own. I used the mirror from PDDU and just used the hide contour feature to hide the inside line on it, turned it upside down and then after I cut it with my gypsy, just tweaked it a little (voila! a bowling pin lol.) I used a circle and then welded 3 smaller circles inside it to make the bowling ball. Then I made a bigger bowling pin so that I could use my peachy keen stamps on it ( I just love those things they are so stinkin' cute!) I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

Peachy Keen Mini-challenge

I hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend. This is a card that I made for the mini challenge, that Peachy Keen is having over at http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2010/11/lets-face-it-friday-winner-and-new-mini.html . The challenge is to make something with polka dots, white as the main theme color and one of their awesome stamp faces. I decided to make a Thanksgiving card. Can you believe it is only 11 days away. This year has just FLOWN by. I used the PDDU and the DC cricut carts and the scallop oval is from ACY. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for stopping by. I love your wonderful comments.

Hello again!

I am finally able to post a project that I have done for the peachy keen challenge over at http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/. Things have been pretty hectic around here and I haven't been able to do much crafting :(. I am pretty much getting in under the wire on this one...( but that is about how I roll hehe.. ( can you tell I have teen aged daughters lol ). I made an ornament wreath for the challenge. The wreath and poinsettas are from the Christmas cartridge and I used the face from one of  Peachy keen's awesome stamp sets. Glittered the flowers added a bow and some ribbon and voila! An ornament for the tree.  Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Smiley cards

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good evening. Sorry I haven't gotten to post much lately. I've been SUPER busy!  We are remodeling my laundry room.. can't wait until it is done. I'm just loving the new cart download that I got on the Gypsy. The smiley face  cartridge is sooo cute. I thought I would try to play around with it for a minute and make a card. Since the winter holidays are fast approaching, thought I would make a snowman. It is really easy to work with. Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by.
