Red Carpet Studios Premier!!

Challenge Monday

Good morning! It is Monday and you know what that means... yep it is the start of the work week uuggghhh...but that wasn't what I was talking about hehe.
It is Challenge time over at MEFY! We have a fun one this week , it is a paper piecing challenge:)
Now I will have to admit that I have never really done any paper piecing before, but those things are sooo cute! The image I got was from Kristy at Scraptastical Kreations. She has the most adorable images...

I don't have an electronic cutter that can cut this out for me...so I had to cut it out by hand. It really wasn't as much trouble as I thought it would be. Pretty easy as a matter of fact. I will definantly be doing some more paper piecing. I think the bears are just too cute!!

I also tried to do some machine stitching. I'm still trying to get the hang of it lol :)

Since I had the baby bear, I thought a baby quilt would be a good background for it.

Geisha Anya

Hello everyone :) I hope you are having an awesome Tuesday!!
I am a guest designer over at 3 Girl Jam today. I am soo excited. I also saw that Kristal over at Getting Cricky is looking for a few more DT members. So I decided to make this card :)

For my project today..I decided to try out a new stamp that I recieved. I won this stamp from Melissa over at Needful Things... Thanks Melissa!! Ever since I recieved her in the mail I have been dying to try my hand at coloring her in.. and what better time than now :P

I'm really new at this coloring thing, well besides my coloring book days hehe, and that has been quite a while!! I tried to do the light thing(you know what I mean.. where you account for the shadows and light and then color in your image ) and think that I did fairly well at my first attempt on her lol.

The paper is from Me and my Big Ideas

the awesome ribbon is from 3GJ

and the sentiment is from Getting Cricky "Scripture Sayings"

I also used my Tim Holtz distress inks and colored pencils :)

Make a card using 3 pearls. How easy is that!!

I used a cuttlebug folder and the flowers are from my Flower shoppe cartridge.

I used my Home Decor cartridge for the swirls under the flowers.

The cute dragonfly is from my Nursery Tails Imagine Cartridge

The pearls are from A.C. Moore

I used Tim Holtz distress inks to color in my image.
