Hi everyone!! It's Monday and you know what that means challenge day at Made Especially for You:)
For our challenge this week it's theme week. " Back to school using vellum"
I don't know about your part of the world, but here in my neck of the woods its time for school to start back. Next week as a matter of fact! Boy, where does the summer go. I don't have any kids starting school this year. My baby just graduated this past May and will be turning 18 Today. I can't believe my babies are all grown up..(insert frowning face here) lol. She will be starting college though later on this month. I am very proud of all my kids:)
For my back to school card I created this...
I used vellum on my apple and then cut out a prize ribbon in the vellum and cut a circle out and printed a sentiment on it and added it to it. I also used my white signo gel pen to add some doodleing to the chalk board. The cute little digi is from the stamping boutique which happens to be our sponser for this week. So if you like this cute little digi or any of the other ones used by my fellow design team sisters. Just enter a card and you could be the lucky recipient of 3 digis of your choice!!

Love the ribbon treatment and use of black to make it seem like a chalkboard in the BG! Thanks for playing along with us at Raise the Bar!
Yes our babies grow up fast. Mine are 26 and 23 and it's me that goes back to school. I am the Office Manager at an Elementary school, so I go back on August 1. Anyway, Glad you used a different image on your DT card, many of us used the desk, love the card and the use of vellum for your apple and ribbon. Great job.
A great card for back to school, I love the blackboard, and that lovely ribbon
