Blends Join Hands Blog :)

Today is the day!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. Thank you so much for joining us today! For Jessica's Blogaversary we were to pick one of her creations as an inspiration. I knew immediately what my inpiration was....
This wishing well she made for her sister's wedding. I thought "what a wonderful and sweet person she must be to spend so much time creating something like this for her sister". And, I absolutely LOVE wishing wells! This was the first time I had ever visited her blog and I am soo glad that I did. I have found a very wonderful Blend!

Smash books are all the rage now and I never really thought I would like one, until I was trying to remember the other day where I saw something that I liked and couldn't remember where it was!! Then I saw that Ellen over at Card Monkey had made her own.  So this is my version of a smash book with some inspiration from Jessica,

I was playing around with my distressing inks on this one lol.

Aren't these paper gorgeous!! I love the way this turned out, every page has pockets for a tag or other items.  I had several more pics to show, but I am going to keep mine short and sweet, because there are several "candy" pics to show you, and I know we all like to see the candy haha. I am going to have some posts here on my blog with the rest of the book, and the details of it. If I feel really courageous, I will make a little video to show you the book.:)
Now  This is the line-up and all the deets for the candy.

I am getting quite the collection of cards from crafty people and I let them sit out for months and months, was thinking about hanging a string across the rm for them but think I will make these with all the deets on the cards I receive, Fabulous idea, will have to remember to mention in a post about it that I got the idea from you tx Robin, I love your project and that we can be inspired by the same projects but they are all so very different, awesome
