"It's Easter" Blog Hop (Day 2)

Hello everyone and welcome back to our "It's Easter Blog Hop". When I think of Easter, many different things come to mind. Sunrise service at church, the family getting together for a nice dinner, the kids hunting for Easter eggs, and the candy filled Easter baskets.
This next project reflects on the first thing. My faith. I saw a tutuorial on something similar to this, but Halloween oriented on customcrops. I thought it was cute and decided to do an Easter project with it.

You could use this just as decor, or put things in it. I planned on putting a vase in it and putting some of my daffodils in it, but the awful storms that we have had blew off all of the pretty flowers.
There are a few rules for this hop, in support of each crafter and the time they have put into their work, to be eligible for the Grand Prize Blog Candy from Shawnee, you MUST visit each blog and leave a comment.  If you have come to visit my blog, or just happened to be passing by and want to start at the beginning, just
click HERE and hop along with us
Now on to the Blog Candy. What's Easter without candy for your basket.
I will be giving away a Cricut Basketball solutions cartridge along with a kit for a paper bag mini album.
all you have to do is
1. Leave a comment (with a way to get in touch with you)
2. Be or become a follower.
That's it. Easy Peasy right?
This hop runs from April 7th - 10th, so you have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop. Check out each blog and see what each blog has to offer for BLOG CANDY! Come back all 3 days to see some new projects, tutorials, and more.
Tell your friends about the hop for an extra chance.
Don't forget to visit ALL of the other talented crafters for your chance at the grand prize blog candy donated by our gracious hostShawnee
Now on to your next stop on the bunny trail  Christine.
In case you get lost along the way here is a list of all the wonderfully talented crafters joining in on the fun.

  1. Love your box, it is so beautiful! It would have made for a beautiful display for your daffodils! You will need to buy some just so you can display this beautiful box. Sorry the wind damaged the ones in your beds. The wind has been bad everywhere!

  2. What a great tribute to the true meaning of Easter. I love it! Sorry about your daffodils. The tulips should be up soon and they are a little stronger and might withstand the wind!

  18. I love your box!! I might try to make something similar and have each of my boys help me put stuff in it--maybe statements of thanks to Christ or acknowledgements of their blessings. Thank you for the fabulous idea!
