4th of July banner

Hi everyone, I am glad you stopped by today:) I hope you are having a wonderful day so far.

For the  challenge at Red Carpet Studio this week it's all about 3D movies . So we are all creating  3D projects. Both the card team and the layout team are participating in this challenge so you will have plenty of inspiration.

I have never made a banner, and I figured what better time than now to create one for our challenge ;)

I have a few more close up pics for you...

I got this cute little bear from the silhouette store.

I used my MS new circle punch for the layers of this banner

I also use my Silhouette to cut out the letters and number for my banner then used some ribbon to attach them ;)

For our prize that is up for grabs this week our sponsor is
The Paper Parade
The are going to give one lucky winner a
 $15 Gift Certificate

If you would like to enter your project then hop on over to RCS and submit your entry:)

I am also entering this into the Cut it Up: New Nations challenge.

Have a great day

Happy 4th of July!

Good morning and happy hump day!!  It is the middle of the week and I am looking forward to the weekend!!

It's  my turn to share with you some of the beautiful things you can get at the Pinque Peacock store!!

Today, I am showcasing some of the new items that were released this month just in time for all of your patriotic themed cards, layouts, mixed media projects or if you just want to add some beautiful red, white and blue items to your projects. You can find them in the store:)

I decided to make a 4th of July card since it is right around the corner....

The papers are from Hobby Lobby, the flag is a print and cut from the silhouette store and I used a MS punch for the border at the top.

The flower is one of the new items that is in the store the small layered garden beauties (I am loving the smaller version of these flowers!!)  and of  course the beautiful red white and blue pin to finish off my project :)

Super simple card, and I think the flower and pin add just the right touch to make it that more special to give to someone.

So, if you would like to get your own beautiful touches for your projecst. Then head on over to the shop HERE  and let Jessica know what you would like.  Just browse through the photos and then comment on the ones you like. Easy Peasy . There are also lots and lots of other fabrics to choose from. She is super sweet and will make it just the way you want it and hook you right up!

 Have a great day

Snow White :)

Hello everyone!! Oh my goodness... can I just tell you that I am absolutely loosing my mind. LOL
I was supposed to have posted this Sunday and just realized today that I didn't :(   Between getting ready for inventory at work, (that's enough to make you go insane right there)  hehe and my mother in law being sick and in the hospital.  My brain is kinda on overload. So I apologize for my late post.

For this weeks challenge at Red Carpet Studio.. the challenge is to use yellow . Can you guess what movie this challenge is inspired by??? Well,  think yellow.... brick....road.....yep!! You guessed it lol.
The Wizard of Oz....

My layout is one of my Disney pictures that I took while the girls and I were on vacation several years ago.

I got a Disney stack of papers at Hobby Lobby and am trying to use them, since I have had them sitting in my paper holder for quite some time now lol. This page had Snow White on it and so I thought it was fitting to put the picture I had of the girls posing with Snow White at Disney World.
I

I added a swirl behind the picture and then added some yellow flowers to finish it off. All in all a pretty simple layout.

Okay now on to the goodies that you could win for submitting your layout at RCS.

Our sponser for this week is
                                                        PRIZE: Digi paper pack

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see  your wonderful layouts on the RCS challenge!

Ashley is such a kind and sweet person, that when she decided to do a Blogaversary Blog Hop. I was honored to be able participate, and to celebrate with her on this wonderful milestone for her blog:)

Her MEFY challenge blog was the very first Design Team that I had ever been on, and  she makes it so easy for everyone. Usually taking on too much responsibility her self ..LOL. I am currently on her challenge blog Red Carpet studio and have loved working with her for the past year :)

Instead of having a theme for the hop, Ashley put together a bingo board full of some of her favorite crafty things and we were to choose at least 3 of them and create a project.

I chose Polka Dots, Twine, and Stickles and made a blogoversary card.

I used her blog colors as my inspiration for this card :)

Every party needs some kind of cake!! So I decided to go with these cute little cupcakes from the Silhouette store. Just print and cut. I cut out all the base cardstock , then cut out the little squares and used my atg gun to stick them down. I used the print and cut option for the cupcake , the scalloped circle and the small circle with the phrase and number 2 on it then added them to the card with a little bit of American Crafts ribbon :) That's it

Now on to the awesome prizes.... you don't want to miss this so read on HEHE :)

To coordinate with our bingo board, we have sponsors providing prizes to match each item listed on the board!

Silhouette challenge #2

It's time for another challenge over at

A blog dedicated to the Silhouette Cutting Machines.
You MUST use a Silhouette somehow in your project.

 Ch#2
Print N Cut
Begins: Saturday, June 1
Ends: Sunday, June 30

Sponsors this month are:
My Scrap Chick
Prize: GC
Tabitha Designs
Digi Pack (Winner's Choice)
KaDoodle Bug Designs
Prize: $15 GC

For my project I decided to do the Father's day bbq apron card you can get at the Silhouette store :)

I found a background color that I had, and imported that onto my bbq apron, then I added color to all of the other pieces and then printed it out on my printer and using my registration marks cut them out on my silhouette.

So much fun using the print and cut even on images that you would normally cut out of your patterned paper. This is a quick and easy way for those times that you need to get one done quickly ...which is most of the time for me hehe :D

Have a great day!!

You're Sweet

Hello!! and good morning :)

I would like to thank you for coming over to visit with me and hope that you enjoy the post that I have to share with you today.

I absolutely love all of Jessica's creations and my personal favorites are the buttons and pins.....
LOVE  them. I received this fabric covered button and it was so cheery and bright that I wanted to do something different with it.  After thinking on it for a while this is what I came up with.

I decided to turn it into  a sweet lollipop :D  I cut this shaped card from file in the Silhouette store with my cameo then I  embossed the front with my spots and dots cuttlebug folder. I covered the fabric covered button with some plastic wrap and then added a lollipop stick to it.A little bit of twine and all done.  Cute huh!!

All of  Pinque Peacocks items are beautiful and can be used for a variety of crafting projects. There are several fabric choices for your buttons and this is just one of them :)  If you would like to have some of the awesome products that Pinque Peacock has to offer just hop on over to the shop  here and pick some up for yourself today :)

I hope I have inspired you to get crafty today:)

Pretty Perfect

Good morning!! Thanks for taking the time to stop by here today :D
It is the Layout DT's turn to post this week for Red Carpet Studio, and so I have a layout of my baby girl to share with you.

The challenge this week is inspired by the movie "Boy in the striped pajamas"....I bet you can guess what the challenge is going to be LOL...If you guess to use stripes in your layout then ding, ding, ding...you have guessed correctly.

I bought some paper several months ago online and for the life of me can't remember from who. I know they were fairly new so I purchased a few sheets along with some chipboard stickers:) As I was digging through my papers I found one that had stripes, kind of subtle but I really liked it so I decided to use it. I also had one of the pictures my daughter had taken for her graduation pics.

This paper really did most of the embellishing for me  all I had to do was add the picture  a few flowers that I got at my LCS, the 2 chipboard stickers came with the paper so it matched perfectly and then I added one of the beautiful stick pins from Pinque Peacock. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these stick pins LOL.

Okay now on to the goodies. The prize up for grabs on this challenge is:
1 stamp set of winner's choice
from
 Scrappy Moms

So get your papers and pictures out and show us what you've got hehe.. I look forward to seeing your wonderful Layouts.
Have a great day
(:(:Smiles:):)
